Our DAMS
All our dams and sires are health tested. OFA + CHIC testing is received for hip & elbow dysplasia, patella luxation, heart health, plus DNA health testing for genetic diseases. We only keep dams and sires with good and excellent certifications. We want you to know that we take our role as breeders very seriously and we have strived very hard these many years to provide you with the best well rounded healthy Pyrenees.
Besides fame and fortune our pups come from many generations of champions, working livestock and poultry guardians. OFA Certified! Her grand-sire is famous movie star AKC Freedom Farmz Angel Gabriel. Her grand-dam Freedom Farmz Penelope and she has 6 champions in her pedigree. Although being related to a famous movie star she comes from a line of working livestock guardians and distant champions. Best yet she is a huge teddy bear to us, and very loyal. Her name should have been shadow because she loves to always be with us. She came to us all the way from Ohio and she was raised with goats, sheep, and chickens and she is a great guardian. She loves kids and also going for rides in the car. We love her classic big build, bear head and her super sweet temperament. She is very quiet and will not bark unless needed. She is a big girl about 115 lbs. She has retired from breeding but is still a great babysitter and protector of our ranch. Not Your Typical Backyard or House Pets... Our dogs are purebred, AKC registered, OFA certified and DNA health tested. They are exceptionally sweet to us but very faithful at eliminating predators and alerting us to strangers. We breed for breed standards, color and excellent dispositions. Pyrenees are very versatile. They are best suited to working outdoors protecting the herd but they thrive on being part of the family too and especially love to tend little children. They do rounds securing their perimeter and patrol from vantage points. They are the best investment to protect your family, livestock, poultry and they would love to be your best friend too!
